Had an amazing day with Lauren, her new fella Ed and their mate Chris. Picked them up from Manchester, drove to Roeburndale, which is in the Trough of Bowland. We walked around some woods, looked at a stream which had become a veritable raging torrent, skimmed some stones, walked up a few hills and crept across a fairly rickety rope bridge.

It's been absolutely ace. Hiking is loads of fun, and even though I'm knackered from driving over 200 miles today, it's been f*cking brilliant. I'm that ace type of worn out that you get from doing stuff in the fresh air for hours. Went for a coffee in Big Hands when we got back to Manchester, and I listened to all of Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!! on the way home. Well happy :D

Quorn products are just generally are nasty anyway.

Have you had a look in Leyland Tesco at some of the veggie options there? If you stay away from the blatant meat-substitute stuff there's a lot of really nice things that aren't of the same plasticised rubber quality that Quorn is.

A few days ago, I was approved funding for a special needs trike for Leon. Today I've contacted one of the other charities that also approved it and had already paid £200 into my account. I told them I'd gladly give it back as I'd got the funding elsewhere. Not only do they not want it back, but they'd made a mistake and should have given me £400, plus a £100 argos/bhs voucher.

I've been completely honest and ended up better off for it.

I can take him on some lovely day trips now and buy him a vibrating massage mat too.

I have no idea who they were, one guy arrived, one of nicks mates, and all was well then there was a knock at the door this guy goes to answer it and says that a couple of his friends have dropped by, he did ask if it was ok for then to come in although didnt actually say there was about 7 ppl... GuitarAndy knew one of the guys i think it was 'Rails' or something like that...but there was this strange woman wearing a flatcap that arrived with them... she was Peculiar to say the least. note this was at about two/half two in the morn.

I've not yet worked out exactly what happened. It was about 2.30, and the party was winding down, one man turned up who knows nick, he seemed to invite a gang of five or six of his mates, who swanned in with no drink and smoking in a non-smoking house, I said we were thinking of going to bed soon and they were all like "we've paid for a taxi here, you can't chuck us out" then one woman distracted me and nick by asking me if I was pregnant :( and when they finally left a load of booze was missing. Then nick got all angry and started trying to send death threats by text message and trying to phone the bloke who he knew up to get him to come back for a fight and stuff.

Apart from that it was an ace party :)
