Not gonna give the hard sell on this, but it's something new me and Dan (Hat Man Jeoffroy) are trying out. Something relaxed and late night for a Sunday. We'll play decent laid back music at a reasonable volume, so you don't have to shout over it, stick a film on the big screen with the subtitles, and let you get on with a nice relaxed Sunday night with your mates.
Every Sunday, open 'til 2am, Pints of Becks £2.20, Bottles of Corona £2.20, Cocktails 2 for £6 and some shooters at £1.50 if you wanna go nuts.
Opening night is Sunday 24th August, it'd be great to see some friendly faces from here down if you can make it.

russ, can you get them to do an offer on rose! last time i spent the night in this place i spent £70 and had to go to the bank twice!!!

I love the drinks there, though once they run out of Diet Coke, it was a Tuesday.

They run out of everything on a Tuesday. Dray wagon comes on a Wednesday, but that does not make it alright.
I cannot make the opening but do intend to step into the Dog Turd night before long. Will the Lancashire Evening Post have the Scoop on this?

On a more serious level, this was dead good. I enjoyed the sofa's and the company. God atmosphere. Although Russ had 'left' the only song I requested at home!

There was an issue with the projector. Despite our checking on it earlier in the week it turns out that nobody in the building knew how to turn it on, our investigations led to us clasping a set of bare wires heading towards what appeared to be a mains socket.. at which point we abandoned the project in order to tactically avoid death.
There will be films next week, if I have to act them out myself.

I pressed a few buttons. We brought our own stuff and had to move a few things around, put most of it back but one of the turn tables and the cd player are still disconnected and to one side. If you can't find anything Tuesday give me a bell.

People in all night, got busy around 9 and stayed so till gone 1am. Obviously the Bank Holiday helped (though it did mean adapting the playlist slightly), but couldn't have asked for a better start.
