The launch of our new night in Manchester.
The 31st of August sees the launch of Memory Loss at Matt & Phred's, the latest live music event to hit Manchester. Hosted by piano based indie band Jelly's Last Jam, the night promises an eclectic mix of music styles, improvised jams and some of the most exciting new bands around.
Memory Loss was devised with a simple concept in mind; good, honest music in a warm and appreciative environment. Matt & Phred's jazz bar is the perfect setting for this, with a stage that has seen the likes of Adele and Paulo Nutini, the allure of the grand piano and the intimacy gained from the 150 capacity venue.
The launch night sees live music from Jelly's Last Jam, The Laze, The Seal Cub Clubbing Club and Vencidos plus improvised collaborations from all four bands.
Memory Loss is held on the last Sunday of every month starting on 31st August 2008 at Matt & Phreds, 64 Tib Street, Northern Quarter, Manchester M4 1LW.

WE HAVE A COACH! Setting off outside The Mad Ferret at 6.30pm on the night, and leaving Manchester at midnight, coach tickets are £5, meaning you can buy tickets for the gig together with coach tickets for £10.
