-This isn't a DnB night as it's been described as by some. We're all about roots
influenced music and lot's of bass!

- No MC's (we wanna listen to music, not some dude "spitting" shit)

- No Jump Up (i'm sorry to those who disagree but we feel jump up is the
downfall of dnb)

- We want to promote good vibes and a friendly atmosphere for like minded
people who want to join us, enjoy the music, a can of red stripe and maybe
the odd doob

as i said joe the figure could be wrong i wsa drunk when told but the principal is the same. they did a runner with whatever cash there was and changed all the passwords on the bank accounts so he couldn't get his money

I don't know what happened, but I don't know how anyone could do anything harsh to that guy.

I'm probably still gonna try and make it down for this whenever I can anyway. I think it's kinda sad to see accusations (whether they hold any truth or not) about business or personal stuff keeping people away from some good music. In the end, boycotting this is gonna hurt the DJ's/performers more than anyone else. It's not really fair to deny performers an audience (or a decent sized audience at least,) on the basis of events that are out of their control.

Also, nobody in this thread seems to have any cold hard facts or even any stable arguments beyond "they took money". If cash really has been stolen, then the police should be dealing with it.

We have been greatly saddened this week by the tragic loss of Kyle aka Ryback, our thoughts go out to his family, friends and all the Ohana crew.

It has been a unanimous decision that Saturday nights event will still go ahead with some slight changes to the billing and the help of Daylight Robbery Sound System to pack in some more speakers.

The day has finally arrived, Herbal Sessions vs Ohana Sound System 2nite @The Caribbean Club, Preston, 9pm - 3am, £5 entry

Located in the heart of an industrial estate the Caribbean social club is Preston's answer to Leeds' Subdub.

Think raw and basic, £2 cans of Redstripe, £1.50 Spirits, Locals playing domino's in the back room and Herbal Sessions making as much noise as possible.
