I dont have any of the details here with me, but our beloved tour van may be for sale.
We are looking at getting something that we can build bunks and such in, as the possibilty of a bit more longer run tours+ trips to europe are in the pipeline, and we are going to try and pick up a High top, long wheel base van.
We've literally never had a problem with our current van. never failed to start, never broke down. (touch wood).
Its super reliable ford transit. 3seats up front, 3 at the back, with plenty of space for lots of gear, personal stuff. Weve kitted it out with a decent set of speakers etc too, for long journey metal times. Sleeps 6 people, fairly comfortably.
Its fully MOT'D, not that long ago (again i dont have dates) and just needs taxing (if we dont tax it ourselves before sale, but even then i think its less than 130 for a year).
The heater doesnt work in it. Which is the only annoying thing.
We are looking at a straight grand. Which is a lot less than what we paid for it, but its to give a band a solid vehicle and a great chance to get on the road.
Pics and more details will be up on request, just seeing if theres any interest.
The van itself is kept in preston, and so viewings can be arranged. Drives will need to be planned, for insurance purposes.
sweet.
Oh, and you have to call the van navarac. which is caravan backwards. thats her name, and she wont like it if you change it.
