This gig has crept up on us like a ghostly ninja in bunny slippers, but we're more than ready to bring our full set back out of the armoury and blow your collective tits off! Really looking forward to seeing the other bands in action and generally having an awesome night of metal mayhem!

Ok, dicking about aside for a minute, Friday brings two signed bands fresh from success at Bloodstock Open Air last weekend to the Venue, with our hot hairy meatfest sandwiched between them for good measure!

A lot has been said over the past few weeks about attracting in outside bands to freshen up the local live circuit, and that is what we're trying to do, but it will fall on its arse if we can't show these bands there is the demand for it, which is where you guys and gals out there come into the equation... Even if the bands in question aren't to your taste (links in my sig), it is worth coming down to show your support, as it will undoubtedly help us blag more talented foreigners into appearing in our fair city...

We'll do what we can to big up the Preston end with our performance, but we need all you lovely moshers out there to bring the KY, so they don't run back home all chafed and bitter...

Friday night was awesome! I've not been so soul-smashingly rendered for some time, and the crowd rection as always was unbelieveable, so from out of nowhere it became one of our most fun gigs ever!

Thanks to everyone who came down, your support and interest means the world to us!

Thanks also to the guys in Liquid Sky who (like us) put on an extended set to cover for From The Ashes' hasty departure*...

Join us at The Yorkshire House in Lancaster next Saturday for Brigstock, a veritable metal feast, with an afternoon show from 2.30pm (all ages) featuring Promethium, Lake Of Fire and Megatron Rising and an evening show from 8pm (18+) with our hairy lot, Megatron Rising (again) and Exploits Of The Dead! Should get pretty messy!:D




*the drummer had an emergency call and had to leave at the last minute during their soundcheck. If any of FTA read this, hope he got everything sorted, and I'm sure we'll gig together under simpler circumstances in the future...

tis now monday (the gig was on friday) and i just want everyone to know, I still have a hangover. eeew. excellent night, shame about FTA and generally the lack of people.

Everyone should be reassured that , contrary to popular belief, metal at the venue is not dead. i just hope that in future, in a city as large as preston, people start getting out to what used to be the most popular friday night venue in town, and support local bands again, not to mention the bands which came from farther afield.

just do it.
