Lol, we need a giant 'ONLY PRESS IN CASE OF DARKCIDE' button to go on the lighting rig that turns off all the house lights & scans, puts the controller in slow and unplugs that ****ing chandelier in front of the DJ booth without you or Ducky having to do acrobatics.

We'll sort it out first next time when we are setting up for projection, J&Matt normally don't notice at Beats because we change the lighting scheme beforehand to suit the night.

Yep. Basically just need to get some decent galvos and a USB controller. Won't be the world's best scanner but it'll be cheap as chips and run EXACTLY to my desired spec.

I've also figured out a rather nice pole rig to get a multilevel liquid sky effect off one lazor, which will be handy on account of the nearest source of a suitable and free lazor source is, um, Class IIIb. So I'll have to split and diffract the bejasus out of it and get it moving like greased weasel shit to avoid repopulating Preston with a lot of neocylopsean goffs.

Dont get a lazor. I wont move all night and just watch it.

I was very, very tired. Remember I spent the entire afternoon indulging in radiocontrol shenanigans with three hyperactive junior geniuses, then did a bunch of electronics work (wish I'd got that runner working in time to bring it along, having it in full working order this afternoon is just a day late and a dollar short). and no - I struggled too on my 2nd set in the Dark-Cide room. BOTH cd players's went '................................', and this was with proper cd's not cdrs :(

I think personally the prob I had with the main room was the sound had quite painful middly clipping (dancing too Heresy shoulda been a crunchy euphoric joy, but it was a bit 'gah my ears') - we got the PA checked earlier on an it sounded great so am thinking it's something that maybe had gone a lil wrong and something we can fix (this was one of the teething probs I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing?)

Thats why in my 2nd set after yours, I kept the volume a bit down (and why Phil yelled at me to turn it up when I played Erasure hehe).

Electro-Cide room went great though - was a true joy to be playing those tracks again and my guest DJ was fkkking fabulous !!!


But on the whole that was a pretty great re-launch, and gives me lots of hope and excitement for future nights of Goff'N'BeepyBang in the future.

I think my *** was a much better feature than my face this night... I dont normally get that twatty! Was getting free drinks poured down me!
I am impressed that instead instead of putting my *** back in me top, I just covered it up and flicked vs at the camera. Even after 10 pints of cider I still got me priorities right!:D

Lol, we need a giant 'ONLY PRESS IN CASE OF DARKCIDE' button to go on the lighting rig that turns off all the house lights & scans, puts the controller in slow and unplugs that ****ing chandelier in front of the DJ booth without you or Ducky having to do acrobatics.

We'll sort it out first next time when we are setting up for projection, J&Matt normally don't notice at Beats because we change the lighting scheme beforehand to suit the night.

Non attendance (see what i did there) was more due to monetary woes and having to get the ****ing terrible bus back to ormskirk on sunday! if i only have to get the train back to manc i might be more likely to come!

And the walk through the park was utterly random, but will stick in my head as a spectacularly odd night out for some time!
