CSOD are great, but I am sure they are Blackpool and Bispham, unless one of them has moved to Fleetwood, who knows?
I work with the guitarists' Dad and he lives Fleetwood. But yeah, generally t'other side of Kirkham.

No matter, CSOD have pulled out of the gig. Because Preston is on their 'shitlist'. Bad gig at another venue apparantly.
You Will Fail AND Multi Purpose Chemical..... still makes me want to be there.

Ah well...
More room for YWF and the awesome sounding MPC (http://www.myspace.com/multipurposechemical) to kick some ass! :moron:
Are you looking for an act to fill the slot? Would you like us to ask around for some good replacements?

I've spoken to the chap in person about it, and he's not sure about getting a replacement, but I'll have a chat with you next time I'm in the Mill...
Anyway, I said good replacement...;)
(You know I love you really!:jenni:)
Perhaps a link to a myspace site or summat similar would give a bit of a clue?
Or you know where to find me of a Tuesday. (not next Tuesday though, letting the girls go solo for the first time):D

This will be my first time seeing them live, but they sound awesome from their Myspace! Really looking forward to letting my dreads down at this one!:moron:
Will you be gracing them (and us) with your attendence at this gig sir?
Time to say again;
CSOD have pulled out of the gig, due to not liking Preston. Or something. (honest!!)
But MPC, and You Will Fail, plus some good tunes from the DJs. Should be a good 'un. A belter, even!
Multi Purpose Chemical have been likened to (in recent weeks to, by people I have played their CD to); Machine Head, Korn, Beastie Boys, RATM, Biohazard, Soil, Coal Chamber...
Any more?

Just sent MPC a message via their Myspace regarding gear, and I'll let you (Mark) know the score as soon as they get back to me...
This will be the bitches tits!:moron:

Gear is now sorted. We are using MPCs backline, with our own heads and breakables. What are we using the gear for you eagerly ask?

Boom!:moron:
Strangely, I am only mildly nervous about this at the moment.
I dare say when I get Tuesday out of the way (which I am more than a tad nervous about) I will start to worry.
Great poster btw, we like it um heap.

Cheers for this Mark, shame there weren't a few more heads through the door, but it's their loss as Multi Purpose Chemical were awesome! They really got those attending into the spirit of it, which was great, and aside from some "special moments" we survived our set too... Whether the rest of the (non-driving) douchebags in the band survive the car journey back to Lancaster without hurling over G's upholstery is another thing!
A good night was had dude...
That was awesome.
Truly awesome. I said to Sam afterwards, I thought I would have to get him on my shoulders while he was solo-ing, Angus style. He said I should have. Maybe at Mojito in a bit, eh?
You guys seemed to be enjoying it, I hope that was the case. Tough gig to get people to with 32ft at Venue, 4 bands on for free at the Ferret and Aussie Pink Floyd sold out. A good night for burglars, perhaps. But we did OK, the sums added up well.
People I spoke to who had not seen you before were impressed. **** of people asked me how I managed to get MPC to play. I would say it was a 50/50 split over the favourites (of those who expressed a preference).
I hope many friends were made.
Cheers for doing that. It was fookin awesome.

Why does a-l-o-t come up as asterix?

I'm amazed at that, seeing as how highly I rate MPCs performance, but being up there I have no real idea what we sounded like to the audience, so I couldn't judge us fairly... Sam won us a lot of points tonight, bless the hairy little axe goblin, running up and down and powersliding... I lacked my usual gusto as once again popeye (me) didn't get his spinach (booze) cos he was driving and working the next day, but I was buoyed greatly by some of the good feedback we received...
We have come away with new friends in MPC, DJ Petty and anyone else we had the fortune of dealing with...
Cheers for the gig! I'd happily support MPC again anywhere they played... We'll definitely get back to you about Mojito, we're keen to play there, but we need to regroup first and concentrate on finishing some new material.
I'd better get my ass to bed, work in 5 hours...:\

Personal bugbear of the admins. It troubles them a lot.

I wouldn't go that far, I'd just say you weren't in possession of all the facts...
Good to see you on Friday dude, I hope you enjoyed our set, we had an absolute blast! Never knew that few people could make that much noise!:D
