Do You Want Your Gig/Event to Appear in the LEP What's On listings?

If you do, there is now a wonderfully simple way to achieve this.

Simply post in this thread using the format I have written below. I shall be checking it regularly and hopefully we can transfer the information straight into our listings system.

IMPORTANT: WE TAKE GIGS FROM ALL OVER LANCASHIRE AS WELL AS BOTH MANCHESTER AND LIVERPOOL.

ALSO IMPORTANT: YOU MUST INCLUDE ALL THE INFORMATION WE ASK FOR, OTHERWISE IT WILL NOT GO IN. This is basically a free ad for yourselves and we just don't have the time to faff about and check tiny details on every gig ad.

The deadline for each week is Wednesday at 3pm and WOW comes out on Friday. So, if you have a gig in the following week, you must get it to us by that time if you want it to go in.

Thanks for the info, people! Two small points.

1) When I say PUNTER'S INFORMATION TEL, what we really want is the VENUE contact number, if there is one. As I explained above, this number is for publication so that people who want to come to your gig can ring and check stuff like that the gig is still on or whether there is disabled access and whatnot. Your Myspace wont tell them that and I doubt any band member would want their mobile number published for such a purpose.

2) Sorry Victoria, as you said in your pm, you have missed the deadline for this week. I will send it through just on the offchance she can squeeze it in but she probably won't be able to and even if she can, we certainly can't do that all the time.
